Leven is off the A915 Kikcaldy to St Andrews road, 30 minutes by car from St. Andrews and approximately one hour from Edinburgh and two hours from Glasgow, both cities having and international airports. The nearest train stations are Cupar and Kirkcaldy about twenty minutes by car.
There are many local attractions for non-golfing partners. The East Neuk of Fife is full of historic villages such as St Monans, Pittenweem with its extensive arts festival in August, and Anstruther with the fishing museum. St Andrews is popular for golf and has a range of shops, arts centres and The Byre theatre. The shopping centres in Dundee, Perth and Edinburgh provide retail therapy but there are many other local attractions.
